My name is Gary Hogman. Some of you receiving this know me, some do not. My wife, Cindy, is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and her chances for survival are very slim. She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried recently at 3 months, and now we know why. This is a request for you to forward this e-mail to everyone you know asking for prayer. The more people that pray for her to be healed, the better. Pray and forward. It only takes a second to hit ‘forward’. Please do it and don’t delete this, your prayer can, and perhaps will, save her life. Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for the HEALING of Cindy and the removal of all cancer in her body, so she may enjoy all that life has to offer, and to continue to be the wonderful mother to our 5-year-old son Michael. The power of Prayer is unsurpassed. I want the whole world to have her in their prayers the next few weeks. God will hear our cry. Please do not be offended by my plea. This is only a request for your help.

Today in Vegas it was 113 at 10am.

Unbelievable. 

I always see mothers with their little babies and young children traipsing around under the desert sun totally unprotected from the scorching rays.

Scientists have finally jumped this issue by revealing the kind of hurt could be inflicted on those youngsters by this lack of care.

 Be sensible people.

Don’t leave them and the pets in the car, don’t make your poochies walk around on the tarmac while it scalding, get those hats and glasses on your kids!

This stuff is simple.

Why do we have to make laws for what should be common sense?

Incidentally - aging skin is more susceptible to cancers and skin infections.

It have something to do with T cells.

Because older skin is thin and dry,  also prone to bruising which could cause bacteria to proliferate.

The elderly should cover up or stay inside during the heat of the day.

Keep your immune system as healthy as possible to fight the ravages that living through this life takes on your physical body.

There is all kinds of information here on the Web about how to do that.

Happy Day – if you don’t celebrate the Christian holiday, remember this day was just sat upon a pagan holiday which gave thanks for getting through the winter – resurrection all way round.

Even from the dawn of time – folks had an inkling that when things went right, it was relieving to breath a sigh of relief, keep fingers crossed and thank their lucky stars.

No idea how bunnies and eggs got into it – but I suspect it has something to do with babies – you know – fertility cult stuff now buried deep in chocolate and hunting for the hard yolk.

My dear friend Ichabod,
Your mood is kinda forlorn of late.

You got to stop watching the news – it has changed my attitude completely to reduce its presence in my mind.

Not that I am closeted – I know what going on.

A body can feel it – details are superfluous.

The shocking death of Nastasha Richardson made me weep -

so vibrant and beautiful, so in love with her family and work.

So sudden.

I have always wondered if a person has any inkling that something is up on the day they die -

and whether if they paid attention to their intuition, they could change the possible future?

The news of her sad passing made me more and more certain that we must not miss an opportunity to tell everyone how much we value and love them -

and I don’t mean just relatives -

I’m talking the ladies at the library, cashiers in our grocery stores, folks we see most days without ever expressing our appreciation.

How often have we told the Sky we love it?

Or whispered to a stream our pleasure in it’s cool relief and bubble?

When we gaze up to the night Stars – do we thank them for guiding our path?

Or kiss the Wind as it passes us?

Gratitude is a healing balm. It reminds us that what we leave behind is our immortality.

Our children, our good acts, our luminous energy.

Our World is a shared experience, but each life is singular in preception.

I truly believe a melding of collective intention could transform our Planet in a twinkling.

Takes a long time to heal after death.
Best to heal before we go.

Change of Heart follows change of Mind.
