Apparently on the edge for a few days prior to the final contest – Boyle revealed herself a bit unstable by cussing at a reporter. Details of her boyling over are mixed and unreliable.
Tabloid heaven.
Friends in Scotland are encouraging her to come home.
The Bizness draws those who are talented but insecure.
A lot of the apparatus is constructed to keep artists on edge all the time.
Even Brad and Angelina are subjected to cruel suggestion and endless innuendo.
It was all too much so soon for this fragile being.

Susan Boyle didn’t win the whole gamilla on Britain’s Got Talent.
The prize went to a dance group named Diversity.
After such a tremendous build up, the contest was almost anti climatic.
She has checked herself into a clinic in Scotland suffering from ‘exhaustion’.
Over exposure seems a more likely reason.
The poor thing has been taught the best lesson of the Bizness.
Fame sucks.

Fate is fickle, like the Public.
Of course, picking Memories was the kiss of death.
It has been way overdone.
Her opening was poor, uneven and clumsy.
Frankly, I liked the hot Asian lady who wailed on the violin.
Ms. Boyle looked surprised when she made the cut – with good reason.

The cacophony that surrounded her first appearance was almost unprecedented.
It takes a very strong person to not be swayed, bent and whipped up by such a kerfuffle.
From the get she was praised and parodied, hounded and hunted.
Her life changed on the moment and will forever be.

That she will have a successful singing career is probably not in question.
She got sympathy in the mix now – something her machine will use to her advantage – and theirs.
But unless she can be protected from all of us and those who will exploit her for money – she may have many more trips to clinics for rest and reassurance.
The Entertainment Business is a cruel master.
Everyone is product and nothing is sacred.
I wish her all the best.
Leave her be for a while.
