Mr. Reid,

No to imposing fines on those of us too poor to afford health insurance.

The very idea.

This congress and administration gave huge bucks to the fat cats who got us into financial meltdown.

Now you considering shoring up the deficit on the backs of the impoverished?

Disgraceful.

I voted for Mr Obama, and was swept along on his tide of optimism.

But I been sorely disappointed with the muddle his chosen staff & supporters have been making.

Why has Bernanke still got a job!?

The idea of imposing fines on those who can’t afford to pay in the first place is ludicrous.

And it is also un-democratic.

We have the right of choice in this country and don’t you forget it.

For good or ill.

Let me remind you of Mr. Obama’s campaigning words -

“Punishing families who can’t afford health care to begin with just doesn’t make sense,” he said during his party’s primaries.

That this even been discussed is an embarassment – playing into the hands of the Right Wing who thinks you are socialist idiots.

This ain’t socialism – it is capitalist fascism!
